CCI and Kettle’s Yard
CCI has collaborated with Kettle’s Yard since it was founded in 2002 by artist Idit Nathan. A favourite Cambridge tradition during the years of this collaboration was the Sunday Family workshops. All the CCI artists took it in turns, working in pairs to devise open ended and inclusive workshops taking the House collection or the current Gallery exhibition as a springboard to deliver open ended and imaginative making and exploring.
Between us, we worked with all kinds of families – toddlers with their big brothers and dad, very pregnant Mums with their kids, husbands and wives. And once a delightful small family of four elderly ladies who had been best friends since their early youth.
