ReCollection is Kettle’s Yard Oral History Archive – a cross-generational archive that reflects how people have thought and felt about Kettle’s Yard over the years. The project ran from 2008-2010. The Education Officer Sarah Campbell also wanted to capture the current impressions and voices of young people.

In February and March 2009, 10 three & four year old children from The Fields Children’s Centre in Cambridge, with their parents in tow, were introduced to the house through drawing activities.

In June 2009, 54 Year 4&5 children visited the House, creating artists sketch books and making their own Kettles Yards Houses in the shape of mini-dioramas. Completing the project back at their school, St.John’s CE Primary School in Huntingdon, the children curated and installed an exhibition of their work in their school hall.
