HareMoon Camp is held in ancient Cambridgeshire woodlands in the beauteous month of May. A lush, rich and magical time of the year.
Over four days we are entertained by gifted and wonderful storytellers, an evening’s musical performance, and workshops around storytelling and song.
The camps is small, with a maximum 65 people. We camp in circles in the woods and in the meadow. Over the four days we enjoy spending time with old friends and making new ones. The heartbeat of the camp lies in the beauty of a day spent in nature and in community – with rich choices: early morning meditation, yoga, rousing morning disco under the oaks, morning meetings, council and evening meals cooked for us and shared together. Entertainment is provided and there is ample space to offer & share skills and ideas. We work together to keep the camp running, smooth and fun, and relaxing for all.
Everything is included in the camp price – workshops, performances, evening meals & saunas. The camp is held by an experienced and welcoming crew, who have been running camps on this magical land for over a decade.
Over the past twelves years we have proudly kept camp prices low and affordable:
Adults 28yrs and over: EARLY BIRD – (until April 15th) £170 then £195
Adults 18yrs to 27yrs: EARLY BIRD- £140 then £160
Information about HareMoon Camp can be found on Facebook and on whats app. There is camping space for tents and vehicles.
">To book, contact Filipa on . She will be in touch with booking details & the cancellation policy and an invitation to join either the whats app group or the Facebook page where information is shared.
Sound dreamy? It is.
Over four days, we savour the pleasure of entering into tree time, slow time, community time, gentle time. Entertained by the sky, the trees and the earth, the old stories come alive, under the oaks, round the fire. As companions we break bread together, share a bit of life, and leave a little wiser, a little softer.

Introducing our two storytellers for HareMoon 2025 – Su Squire and Tim Ralphs
SU:
A story is… a portal to realms of endless possibility.
I’m beyond delighted to have been invited (ooh…that rhymes!) back to Hare Moon for another year. As I write this I’m still basking in the lingering warm glow that is the magic of Ashlyn Woods and all the huge-hearted and playful souls that gather there to warm their souls by the fire and rub shoulders with the more-than-humans.
I’m very excited indeed about this year’s theme of transformation and over the coming days and weeks I’ll be sniffing out some ingredients to add to the cauldron – a pinch of myth perhaps and maybe a soupçon of mischief! By the time we gather once more the resulting brew ought to be just about ready to dish up…
TIM:
“A story is the safest taste of alchemical danger.”
Hi! I’m so delighted to have been asked back to Hare Moon. There is no other gathering that flows organically through so many different facets of dance, music, story, ritual, song, being in nature, sauna, and celebration of community. When I think of my time in Ashlyn Woods, I think of performing my ablutions in the outdoor showers, whilst within arm’s reach bluetits sang boasts about the large green grubs they’d caught for breakfast. I think about chopping wood, morning yoga, warm, welcoming friends, songs and stories late into the night. It was playful, magical and nourishing. I came back with a sense of soul-deep contentment that still lingers in my memories. See you in 2025!
