In 2013 the Junction launched a new initiative called Junction University, offering short artist -led courses, workshops and experiences for the public exploring the intersection of art and life. We had a full workshop of people, and spent the afternoon perusing the beauty and oddness of maps, and using dance techniques to nudge maps of our own into being. We thought about the homunculus within us, and how we could choose to present ourselves using simple materials. We played, we conversed, we enjoyed.
